The answer is simpler than you think.
It was only in recent weeks I've been asked this question when conducting my new workshop, the Seven Sacred Flames of God. And I would like to share with you the answer I gave in this article.

And there are times when God is referred to Father/Mother God. Because we are all children of God, thus making God our Parent, and it's both our Father and Mother. And our parent carries both feminine and masculine attributes or energies.
And to take it a step further, I would like to give you an analogy that many have found very helpful. Imagine that all creation i.e. all humans, all plants, all animals, all minerals, all sentient beings as droplets of water. All these droplets of water will one day return to the ocean, its Source. See the ocean as God, and the droplets of water as you, me and everyone and everything else. And now extend this to all creation across the multi-verse. All these creations combined make up the Creator or God. This is the Oneness that we read and speak about in spiritual teachings. We are all One. And we each carry the divine spark within us.
A couple of days ago one of my nature communication students spoke to a cloud above her in the local Botanic Gardens. She asked the Cloud, “how do you communicate with each other?” The answer came back was, “There is no Other.” Even the Clouds know about Oneness. That is so precious.
This Great Shift that humanity is experiencing is about returning from separation to oneness. Our 3rd dimensional or 3D way of living and being is very much based on separation. To shift from 3D to 5D or 5th dimension we are asked to release all habits, behaviours, thinking and beliefs that create separation. And these are everything to do with competition, comparison, greed, fear, anger, resentment, non-forgiveness, egocentric perceptions, and everything that creates pain and suffering to ourselves and others. When these are eliminated from our lives, we can easily elevate ourselves to a higher frequency of unity or oneness. We begin to express our higher attributes like unconditional love, compassion, understanding, acceptance, honesty, kindness, patience, mindfulness, integrity etc. We are learning to consciously incorporate more of these God attributes into our daily life. This is what it means by BEcoming and BEing. We are embracing and expressing more of our true nature, the divine spark, the Light within which is our essence. This is our God consciousness.
The teachings from the Ra Material: The Law of One provides a profound understanding of our interconnectedness:
Your are not separate from others, but connected in a vast web of consciousness.
And another profound one and life affirming for me from the same material:
The purpose of life is to discover and align with your true self, your higher self.
The ultimate goal is unity, the realisation that we are all one. In the days ahead, no matter what is happening in our outer world, let us continue to choose peace, understanding, optimism, joy, love and gratitude. This helps the planet and the Universe more than you know.
Spirituality is simple and it is not meant to be complicated. And it begins by seeing everything as energy, vibration, and frequency. Choose to vibrate at a higher frequency in all areas of your life, and learn to maintain your frequency. That is the mark of self-mastery. And it is the beginning of BEcoming a Creator BEing.
